“Recovering a piece of furniture to which family ties are united is a great job satisfaction, but above all personal satisfaction.”
Born in San Sebastián in 1968. When Yolanda returned from Madrid after spending a few years there and with some decoration studies that did not motivate her, she came to the restoration of furniture pushed by the mother of a friend who saw what she could not see, a new passion that would become his future job.
She began in a workshop while studying at IROA alternating with courses in carving, gilding, etc., in Recicla, both in Madrid and Guadalajara.
Giving classes and restoration work materialized as a partner in the “La Puerta Verde” workshop at the end of this journey, which she continues alone in her own workshop till nowadays.
At Zurjole she would like to once again enjoy transmitting her passion and knowledge acquired after 25 years surrounded by paint stripper, dyes and shellac.
